An opportunity for students to learn about the field of Technical Communication

Have you ever wanted to make a living by writing, but couldn’t figure out how to do it? If you are looking for a career that uses your writing skills and ability to learn about new subjects and technologies, you’ll want to attend this meeting. Four diverse technical communicators will describe how they got into the business and what it involves. You’ll be able to ask questions and network with other technical communication professionals.

Join us in Cedar Rapids at the Coe College Gage Memorial Union, C.J. Lynch Room.
Reservations are due by Wednesday, March 8. Reserve a spot by emailing Mark Sanfilippo at marksanfil@gmail.com or calling 563-663-0589.
Costs: The meeting is open to the public and there is no cost for the meeting. Coe College will cover the cost of dinner for all students. Cost for non-students is $15.00.
Directions and Parking: Park in the faculty/staff parking lot or any other lot on campus. Best lots will be those accessed via 14th Street NE. No parking pass is needed if parking in a Coe lot. However, street parking is monitored by the City of Cedar Rapids, not Coe College. Coe will take care of any on campus ticket, but not street tickets.
