Writing and Reviewing
Separating the Author from the Reviewer
by Rob Cline
Book reviewers need to be objective and tactful when evaluating a book, but a reviewer also needs to be honest. It can sometimes be a fine line for a reviewer to walk.
Rob Cline understand books from both sides of the fence: as a reviewer for the Cedar Rapids Gazette, and as the author of Murder by the Slice, a mystery starring a philosophical pizza delivery guy. Come listen to Rob describe the hows and how-nots of reviewing and how he balances reviewing with his work as a mystery author.
